matcha hemp hydrating cleanser krave 120ml nice gentle cleanser with a fun texture. slightly overhyped. would repurchase 4.5
gel to water cleanser lagom 120ml very hydrating, completely non-foaming cleanser. Went through it quite quickly. would repurchase 4.5
sensitive care solution whipping foam bellamonster 120g gentle cleanser that makes 'asmr' sounds. very fun to use, and effective. would repurchase 5
conditioning cleanser rovectin 175ml This is for the old version. despite its name, this stripped mhy skin and made it feel tight after using it for a few days in a row. ended up using it on my body 2
milky jelly glossier 120ml very gentle. I enjoyed using this, especially when my skin was very sensitive 4
oil-in-gel cleanser 107 180ml discontinued :( -
low pH chaga cleanser 107 120ml This is for the old version. I really enjoyed this, it's like a luxe version of MHHC. would repurchase 4.9
radiance cleansing balm beauty of joseon ? unfortunately this broke me out both times I tried it. it has a nice texture and breaks down makeup/spf easily 2
super grains cleansing oil amill 125ml a decent cleansing oil. didn't irritate my eyes or skin, but felt a little heavier than I'd prefer 2.5
green to & enzyme powder wash byWishtrend 100g first exposure to powder washes. I really enjoyed this, and it left my skin feeling incredibly smooth. best to use 2-3 times a week 3.9
mild cleansing balm needly 190g it has an elegant formula that washes off completely clean. in the winter, I would use this without double cleansing afterwards. would repurchase 4.5
aloe hy-ffective gel cleanser aromatica 120ml incredibly hydrating cleanser that foams up very slightly. my favourite morning cleanser 4.5
acne foam cleanser abib 150ml contains salicylic acid. It's fairly gentle, but too much (for me) to use every day. good for warm weather 3.5
R.E.D blemish clear soothing foam dr.g 10ml was ok. felt a little harsher than I really need, probably wouldn't purchase a full size 3
jeju sparkling water deep cleansing oil shingmulnara 400ml decent, affordable cleansing oil that gets the job done and doesn't leave grease behind 3
hyaful barrier cleansing gel hada labo 10ml foams up a lot for a gel cleanser, and a little on the harsh side. I made the mistake of using it in the morning because it has HA, but it's definitely an evening cleanser 2.3
control-T cleansing foam atopalm real barrier 30ml a little goes a long way! it's fine, but a little harsh - was expecting it to be gentler as it's from real barrier 2.5
rosaliac micellar makeup removal gel la roche-posay 180ml exceptionally gentle, but stings my eyes a little for some reason. would be the ideal morning cleanser otherwise 4.5
double aha cleanser protocol 119ml tbc 4.5

feel soo calm toner pad soo good 70pcs
170ml
the highlight of this is the pad itself, which is soft and large. the essence is soothing as well, it's a perfect summer product 4.9
hyaful barrier pH balancing toner hada labo 400ml tbc -
chamomile pH balanced toner be plain 180ml medium-hydrating, medium-textured toner with soothing properties. with more than 1-2 layers it builds up a little sticky. it sure do be plain, but that can be a strength 4
cactus toner yadah - simple, straightforward toner made with cactus stem extract as the first ingredient. very watery texture, zero stickiness 3.5
propolis synergy toner cosrx 150ml this surprised me by being really hydrating without being heavy, and given a subtle glow. I used it in the summer but need to try it again in the winter 4.9
sensitive care solution toner bellamonster 180ml super hydrating toner with a nice goopy/mucin-y texture. sinks in quickly and hydrates deeply 4.5
real ferment micro essence neogen 30ml this strikes me as a product you have to use for a long time to see a difference, however the 30ml I tried didn't inspire me to buy a full size. maybe one day -
1025 dokdo toner round lab 250ml a straightforward watery toner that kept my skin texture smooth af while using it. could do with being more hydrating 3.7
galactomyces 97% ampoule RiRe 180ml unfortunately this did very little for my skin aside from make it oily. this taught me to be picky with my actives 2
fundamental ampoul mist klairs 125ml a bit of everything, from fermented ingredients to soothing and hydrating, this is a no-brainer I adored. the price holds me back, unfortunately 4.5
madagascar centella asiatica toning toner skin1004 210ml my first experience with centella asiatica. the pha gives this is a very subtle exfoliation, if you use it every day it smoothes out your skin effectively yet gently. I personally prefer occasional strong exfoliation 4
kombucha first breath-like toner aqulabo check it uses urea and kombucha to exfoliate your skin very gently and yet in a way you notice very quickly. I love using this as the seasons change, and it's good for pesky forehead bumps. one I keep going back to 5
mask boosting jelly mist aqulabo 150ml did I buy this because it's a gel that sprays out as a mist? yes. it delivers on hydration, but it's one I need to get again before giving a verdict on -
snail 96 power essence cosrx - overhyped as hell. it's hydrating, and the texture is nice. end of 3
stress zero toner nakeup face 500ml basic, affordable toner. it's incredibly watery, and I found the hydration it gave underwhelming. but it's definitely reliable, good for extremely sensitive skin 3
snail repair advanced serum purito 60ml hydrating, nice gel texture, not much else to say. I've concluded that snail mucin is probably an overhyped ingredient 2.5
unscented centella serum purito 60ml decent hydrating serum with some added soothing benefits for all the centella asiatica extract et el. I didn't notice much from using this, but my skin certainly didn't dislike it 2.6

no.3 bodlebodle repair serum numbuz:n 50ml has a deceptive texture that seems gloopy on your hand, but spreads out thinly and absorbs quickly and leaves no stickiness. uses galactomyces and bifida to refine skin texture and add glow 4.5
mugwort mask I'm from 120g a soothing mask. good to use after storing in the fridge to cool off in the summer 3.5
intensive anti-spot essence rohto melano cc 20ml lasts approx. 4 months of daily use. vita c essence with ascorbic acid and derivatives, works well to brighten PIE/PIH and prevent spots 4
intensive anti-spot premium essence rohto melano cc 20ml lasts approx. 4 months of daily use. a beefed up version of the above, with extra derivatives and soothing ingredients. it works faster to fade spots, and for me it's worth the extra couple quid it costs (it's still cheap for a vita c serum) 5
n peptide shot ampoule ample:n 30ml affordable early-anti/well aging serum with peptides, amino acids, and lots of hydration. leaves skin feeling plump. I can't say if it would do anything for wrinkles 3.5
yes I am toner helloskin/jumiso ? 5% aha toner, which my skin actually tolerated! despite being gentle to some, it's an effective exfoliator and pretty affordable too 4
glycolic acid 7% toning solution the ordinary 240ml I primarily use this on my scalp or body, it's really too strong for my face. incredibly effective if you can handle it. I wish there was something like panthenol +/ madecassocide to help offput the irritation 3.5
tamanu calming serum make p:rem 50ml soothing serum thick enough that I could use as a day cream. gave a nice healthy glow as I used it... I might have preferred this to you know what 4
great barrier relief krave 45ml a very creamy serum that could absolutely take place of your day cream. using too much at once would break me out unfortunately. it is good for sensitised skin -
fundamental watery oil drop klairs 50ml ? -
tea tree relief serum iUnik 50ml ? -
vinyasa calming serum aqulabo 50ml ? 5
galactomyces 95 tone balancing essence cosrx 100ml ? ?
vitamin c superserum protocol 30ml

centella calming barrier cream barr 100ml I loved using this, especially when I was sick as it calmed down the redness/inflammation I experienced. would repurchase 4
fundamentel water gel cream klaires 70ml a lotiony, honestly emulsion-textured 'gel cream'. I loved using this, as it has the perfect water-oil balance. it would be vastly improved by pump packaging rather than a jar 3.9
derma formula green tea probiotics cream innisfree 50ml beautiful, buttery cream perfect for a damaged skin barrier. has a matte-ish finish, it's good for normal-oily skin. would repurchase 4.5
mugwort cream i'm from 50ml a soothing cream that effectively takes down redness. would repurchase 4.5
beta-glucan moisture cream iUnik 60ml this is a bit meh. it’s medium-thick weight that absorbs quickly. affordability is the biggest pro 2.4
hydration gel abib 75ml really good in the summer for lightweight hydration that doesn't disappear like some gel creams. If you apply too much it can pill 3.5
honey green brilliant cream haruharu wonder 20ml very light, yet emolliant cream good for spring. has a fairly strong scent (but didn't irritate my skin) 3
clean lotus cream rovectin 60ml even in the height of summer, this didn't quite have enough occlusion for me. it's an okay lightweight gel cream 2.5
balancium comfort ceramide cream cosrx 80g The texture of this is really lovely; thick but not suffocating, making it appropriate for most skin types. However it irritated my skin over time, possibly because of the bergamot oil. If you have dry skin you’ll like this, and it would be good for most people during the winter or at night. But I wouldn’t recommend it for truly sensitised skin 3.5
heartleaf 78% soothing cream anua 100ml a light-as-water cream that cools the skin due to a non-irritating menthol ingredient. would repurchase, for the summer 4
pure artemisia watery calming cream hanyul 50ml I was looking forward to this because it uses artemisia argyi, the species of mugwort used in Korean (and Chinese) traditional medicine. It has a nice texture that feels lightweight yet nourishing but doesn’t bring the anti-redness benefits of the I’m from cream. Also contains fragrance, and doesn’t smell of mugwort :( 3
fermentation eye cream benton 10ml A decent moisturiser on the thicker side, with peptides and fermented ingredients for anti-wrinkling. I can honestly comment on whether or not this helps prevent wrinkles, but it certainly does plump out fine lines temporarily (as would most thicker creams) 4
baobab soothing moisture cream mediheal 100ml tbc -
azulene hypoallergenic cica gel cream dermatory 60ml this was nice to use, with a comfortable texture and a light purple colour (from the azulene). it wasn't as soothing as the serum 3.5
nourishing rice overnight spa mask cosrx 60ml one of the first kbeauty products I tried. just what the name says, a nourishing cream best used at night. simple and effective 4.3
ultimate moisturizing overnight honey mask cisrx 60ml this is for the old version. also one of my first kbeauty products. it irritated my skin and scared me off of propolis for a long while! -
relaxing sleeping pack abib 100ml a really nice nourishing night cream. it has rice and galactomyces, practically guaranteeing that I like it 4.5
daily moisture therapy cream physiogel 175ml a cleverly formulated 'basic' cream designed to repair the skin barrier. this is thicc, oilies precoeed with caution 5
tolérance extrême emulsion avène 50ml 6 ingredients of lightweight, barrier repairing bliss. I don't know if this makes sense, but it feels like applying extra sebum but in a good way. sinks in quickly and leaves skin soft 5
xeracalm a.d. soothing concentrate avène 50ml very, very useful if your skin is prone to itching. this calms it down very quickly, and helps with redness/inflamation too 5
moisture on mars starface 50ml at first I didn't like this because it leans more on the fatty/lipid side than the water ('hydration') side of things. then it grew on me for it's slight mattifying and blurring effect. then it broke me out. using it has been a bit of a rollarcoaster 2.3

[ chemical/organic and combination uv filters ]
you can be sure that these won't have any white cast (unless otherwise stated)

uv super moisture gel pump rohto skin aqua 140g spf50+ pa++++ | a brilliant lightweight, affordable sun gel that's gentle and easy to use 5
uv super moisture milk rohto skin aqua 40g spf50+ pa++++ | a great sun milk best suited for outdoor use 5
?extra uv gel kanebo allie 90g spf50+ pa++++ | designed for use on body, but still good for the face as well. a little greasy, but very wearable and good value 4.5
watery sun cream 50ml laneige spf50+ pa++++ | mixed feelings on this one. Love that it’s water resistant, however it leaves a bit of a white cast that builds up over the day if you reapply (which you should). Would probably like using this at the beach/for sports though 3
birch juice moisturising sun cream round lab 50ml spf50+ pa++++ | gentle, light sun cream that leaves your skin glowy. formulated by kolmar unfragranced, but smells faintly of almonds 4.5
deep up sun+ dr.g - discontinued -
water splash sun cream fresh espoir 50ml spf50+ pa++++ | a pretty much perfect daily summer sun cream! Lightweight, sinks in well leaving an almost powdery (not sure if that’s the right term, it isn’t overly glowy or matte) finish. Slight pilling on my neck, but doesn’t happen if I apply it in chunks rather than one giant glob, which isn’t too bad 4.5
?uv double cut fresh sun gel etude house 60ml spf50+ pa++++ | truly fast-absorbing, non-sticky sunscreen that also doesn’t pill, sting my eyes or skin, or anything else. Could easily forget I was wearing sunscreen, even with reapplications. bonus for being cheap. formulated by kolmar 4.9
probiotics relief sun essence neogen 60ml spf50+ pa++++ | thickish sun cream that takes a minute to sink in. good for dry skin or cold weather, but not recommended to oily/acne prone skin. Has a strong sweet fragrance, and caused some eye stinging. Formulated in house 2.5
hyper toning sun ampoule wellage 50ml spf50+ pa++++ | one of the lightest textures I’ve ever seen. slight pale beige colour helps even out skin tone very slightly- so I always looked a little nicer and more awake with this. contains brightening and cooling actives. formulated in house by hugel 4.5
mermaid skin gel uv canmake 40g spf50+ pa++++ | my first asian sunscreen from back when I was very strict with ingredients: fragrance free, alcohol free, ‘reef safe’. I’ve used ~3 of these, +1 ‘white’ version that has a tone up effect (some people like this but it just made me look ghostly). feels good on the skin, clear has zero white cast and leaves skin looking nice- glowy not shiny 4.5
spf50+ pa++++ | aqua rich watery essence biore uv 60g heavier than I expected from other reviews, with a strong fragrance failing to cover the smell of alcohol. not irritating, and not bad, but not my favourite 3
aloe soothing sun cream cosrx 50ml ?spf50 pa+++ | meh. good texture, wasn't a fan of the scent and it didn't mask the alcohol scent. but hey, it wasn't irritating. 2.7
quick sun stick abib ? spf50+ pa++++ | easy to apply, albeit slightly greasy. good for reapplying throughout the day 3.5
dermatologist sunscreen altrusit 200ml spf30 | excellent filters, water resistant, and cheap. for the body, this is great. on the face it was thick, pills, can sting the eyes after a while, and may leave a white cast. recommended for a beach day sunscreen 4
face fluid altrusit 50ml well priced face sunscreen that’s easy to get in the UK. Not my first choice because it can sting the eyes and pill (although it depends what else you’re wearing underneath it). Truly brilliant sun protection with a ppd of over 50 (recommended daily minimum is ~10, minimum for a pa++++ rating is 16) 3.5
anti-redness & pigmentation altruist 50ml I think this tries to be many things and doesn’t quite manage to achieve any of them. It comes out of the tube green, but turns brown on the skin. It’s too dark for me, but would be too light for a lot of people. It’s pretty thick, and the tint is high coverage, which would mean even if it matched your skin tone perfectly I could see it being difficult to use enough as it’d get cakey 2
daily defense facial mousse evy 75ml there’s honestly no downside to this. high protection, water resistant, moisturising but lightweight, doesn’t clog pores, no white cast, good size which makes the slightly higher price tag seem worth it. a favourite 5
solaire anti-aging avène 50ml spf50+ | avène is for sensitive skin and in this regard, I wasn’t disappointed. hybrid sunscreen that leaves a slight, but manageable (on pale skin) white cast. Isn’t drying or especially moisturising. a bit water resistant 3.5
ambre solaire anti age super uv garnier 50ml this is good, but it pills (I tested it on its own and with various products underneath). otherwise I'd like it 2.5
ambre solaire sensitive face fluid garnier 50ml spf50+ | popular on IG for being cheap and accessible in the uk. really irritated my skin, unfortunately. -
extreme sunscreen ultrasun ? very good protection. also very water resistant. also awful to wear. white cast, sticky, I can feel my pores being blocked. would wear it on a beach day or something, but not daily. 2
protect & perfect intense advanced boots no.7 50ml spf50 | one of the better uk-based and/or drugstore sunscreens I’ve tried. also one of the more expensive at £15. gets bonus points for the box saying it contained 20 applications, since that gives a better indication for how much to apply than ‘apply liberally’. wouldn’t run back to this, but would repurchase 3.5
sun cream child's farm 100ml spf50 | the positive reviews for this online have to come from people underapplying, it’s the only thing I’ll believe. no white cast, but horribly sticky and stung my eyes badly. wouldn’t put this anywhere near my face again, and not on a baby either 1
conquer skinnies 75ml one that recommends ‘a pea sized amount’ for the face and neck. won’t comment on how effective that is in practice. described as a gel, but it’s more like a balm imo. when using only a little, it blends out very nicely. when using more (normal spf amount) it feels quite heavy and greasy, although it isn’t the worst. I know it’s staying put and is water resistant, so wouldn’t mind wearing this to the beach etc at all 4
